To advance the deep integration of Party building and operational work, and strengthen resource sharing and collaborative talent development, the Party General Branch of ZUTE and the Party General Branch of the Science and Education Integration College of Energy and Carbon Neutralization jointly held a Party Building Collaborative Initiative, conducting in-depth discussions on international talent training. The event was attended by Party and administrative leaders from both colleges, together with representatives from college offices and academic staff.

Participants undertook an in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on fostering and practising a correct view of political performance, gaining a profound understanding of its core essence and practical requirements. All agreed to uphold a staff-and-student-centred approach, regard tangible results as the starting point and ultimate goal of all work, and effectively translate learning outcomes into concrete actions driving institutional development.

Both sides focused on the development of programmes including the Master of Energy and Power Engineering and BSc Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering, engaging in practical exchanges on key aspects: enhancing talent training quality, establishing a high-level team of English-medium instructors, and aligning Sino-UK dual-supervisor resources. To further deepen cooperation, the two parties reached a consensus: leveraging the international education platform, they will fully utilise the strengths of energy disciplines and the features of science-education integration, jointly building a full-chain collaborative mechanism covering recruitment, training and career development.

This Party Building Collaborative Initiative marks a new stage of substantive progress in cooperation between the two colleges. Guided by Party building and connected through talent training, both sides will continue to deepen comprehensive collaboration in recruitment, teaching, research and internationalisation, collectively contributing to the university’s "Double World-Class" Initiative and high-quality development.
