From 10 to 11 July, Professor Li Li, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter (UK), Professor Ion Sucala, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Mat Collins, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Professor Neil Ewen, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication, and Ms Rachel Jones, Director of the International Office, paid a visit to Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT). President Gao Xiang, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Vice Presidents Zhang Xiaoqin and Chen Yao met with the visitors.

President Gao Xiang stated that ZJUT and the University of Exeter share many advantageous disciplines and broad prospects for cooperation. He expressed the hope that on the basis of existing cooperation, the two universities will further explore cooperation potential and actively advance in-depth collaboration in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, technological innovation, and achievement transformation.

Professor Li Li noted that the two universities have a sound foundation for cooperation. She looked forward to the continuously consolidating and deepening their partnership, expanding exchanges between teachers, students and researchers, and establishing a more comprehensive and in-depth cooperative relationship.

During the visit, the delegation also held a series of thematic discussions with representatives of relevant faculties of ZJUT and visited the Moganshan Campus.

Representatives from the University Office, the Administrative Committee of Moganshan Campus, the Academic Affairs Office, the Graduate School, the Research and Development Office, the Finance Office, the International Office, the Campus Development Office, the College of Chemical Engineering, the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, the College of Information Engineering, the College of Computer Science and Technology, the College of Energy and Carbon Neutrality (Science, Education and Industry Integration), the College of Humanities, the College of Design and Architecture, the International College and other relevant departments and faculties attended the discussions.
