Dear Applicants to the 2026 Single Certificate Postgraduate Programme at ZUTE,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your interest in and application to our postgraduate programme. To ensure the standardised, orderly and smooth conduct of the 2026 postgraduate admissions interviews, and in accordance with the requirements for online assessment, we hereby formally issue the following notice covering detailed interview arrangements, pre-interview preparations, code of conduct and other relevant requirements. All applicants are required to read this notice carefully, comply with all stipulations strictly, and complete all necessary preparations in advance to guarantee a seamless interview process.

1. Interview Schedule

Interview Date & Time: 13:00 – 17:00, Friday, 20 March 2026

Interview slots will be allocated randomly. The specific interview time slot and DingTalk meeting link will be sent to the email address provided by each applicant by 18:00, Thursday, 19 March 2026. Please check your email inbox (including spam or junk folders) promptly for this information.

2. Interview Format & Process

All interviews will be conducted online via DingTalk, with each interview lasting approximately 15 minutes. The structured process is as follows:

English Self-Introduction: 3 minutes

Basic English Q&A: 3–5 minutes

Introduction to Academic Background & Proposed Research Direction (in Chinese): 3–5 minutes

Psychology-related Q&A (in Chinese): 3 minutes

3. Pre-Interview System & Equipment Test

Test Time: 14:00 – 16:00, Thursday, 19 March 2026; each test session will last approximately 5 minutes per applicant.

Requirements: This test is mandatory for all applicants, and is designed to debug dual-camera setups, test network and equipment functionality, and familiarise applicants with the DingTalk platform operation. All applicants must attend on time.

4. Equipment & Environment Requirements

Ⅰ. Dual-Camera Setup:

  - Primary Device (Laptop/Desktop Computer): Positioned directly in front of the applicant, with the camera aligned level with the applicant’s eyes to capture a clear full-face and upper-body view.

  - Secondary Device (Mobile Phone/Tablet): Positioned at a 45-degree angle behind and to the side of the applicant,  1.5–2 metres away and 10–20 centimetres above the seated eye line. The camera must remain switched on for the entire duration, with the microphone muted at all times. Both devices must be connected to a power source to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the interview.

Ⅱ. Internet Connection: A wired internet connection is strongly preferred; alternatively, a stable Wi-Fi connection with a bandwidth of at least 10Mbps is required to ensure smooth audio and video transmission with no lag or freezing.

Ⅲ. Interview Environment: The interview must take place in a quiet, private, well-lit room with a plain background. Only interview-related documents and equipment may be placed on the desk, and no other individuals are permitted in the room during the interview.

Ⅳ. Emergency Procedure for Disconnection: If disconnected unexpectedly, log back into the DingTalk meeting immediately. If reconnection fails after three attempts, contact the emergency hotline on(0571) 88813175 without delay. The interview duration will be extended to compensate for any lost time due to valid disconnections.
